A combination of Red, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Red and Purple multi-patterned Shweshwe strips are individually hemmed with colour cotton then stitched together. The construction of this basket gives it a tactile and interesting textured look with a square lip on the base giving structure to an otherwise rebellious and "organic" looking basket. The reverse side of this basket is a repeat of the colours with a "smoother" finish. The base lip of the basket is only visible when using the tactile side.
